My Experience

It comes in a very minimalistic and simple design with a pump nozzle making it very easy and hygienic to use. The main ingredients are vitamin c and retinol but I was disappointed to see that the percentage of the ingredients was not mentioned.

The serum is pale yellow in color and it does have a strong fragrance that might put off some people but for me, it isn’t a big deal. If you’ve used retinol products before, you’ll be familiar with the smell. The texture is very similar to other serums and I absolutely love how it glides on the face. Within a few seconds, it gets completely absorbed. However, I would strictly recommend you to use a moisturizer on top of it as the serum is a little drying probably because of the retinol content.

Did it work? Yes, it certainly does. Is it the best skin whitening product? No, it’s not going to make you ‘white’, but it’ll certainly help you fade some mild spots or discoloration and brighten up your skin. It claims to show results in just 3 weeks which I actually found to be true. It did lighten up my skin and people kept mentioning that I looked brighter and some of the spots faded as well. The change is not drastic but you’ll see a noticeable difference within 3 weeks. However, I wouldn’t recommend you to use it during the day and if you do, please do use a sunscreen.

Final Verdict:

That brings us to the end of our Neutrogena Fine fairness Serum review. The Neutrogena Fine Fairness Serum is affordable and the most important thing is that it works. If you have severe discoloration, I doubt it’ll work. But if you just want to fade some spots or skin tan, you can give it a try. I keep going back to this serum every now and then and I am using it currently as well. It actually does a decent job despite the affordable price tag. If I find something better, I’ll switch but for now, I’ll be using it until my bottle gets over.
